Salt & Light Learning offers a variety of shipping services at checkout. These selections may change from time to time depending on pricing considerations, availability of resources or other factors beyond our control. In-stock items will be shipped usually within two business days after the order is received. A business day is defined as Monday through Friday, excluding any holidays observed by the United States Postal Service. At no time does Salt & Light Learning guarantee delivery. Occasionally Salt & Light Learning will be closed and deliveries will be delayed. When this is the case, a notice will be recorded on our voicemail or website. Salt & Light Learning will not be held liable for any damages incurred by the temporary closing of the store.

In-Store Pickup

Once you receive your confirmation e-mail from us, we remove your merchandise from the shelf and it is reserved in your name and available for immediate pickup. For payment method, use the “in-store pickup”. You can use whatever payment method you want when you come get the books.

It is important to note when and who will be picking up your order. Orders not picked up within 5 business days, except by previous arrangement, will be made available for sale and cannot be guaranteed to be available again to you.

Shipping on International Orders

When ordering from outside the country, the website offers some shipping options. These are not the only choices available. We will be glad to work closely with you to give you exactly what you’re wanting within the parameters of spending, the time-frame needed, and the carrier you’d like to use. Send in your order, noting your wishes in the “Comment” section of the order page. You will have to pick a shipping method in order for the order to process but we will fix it once we’ve heard from you. We will not ship anything until both of us have finalized the shipping needed.

Return Policy

Salt & Light Learning guarantees that your products will be shipped as they are described on the website. Most of our products are used and we do our best to describe the condition accurately in our catalog. If anyone in your family has allergy issues, we recommend you buy new as we have no knowledge what these books have been exposed to. Salt & Light Learning does not guarantee that you will enjoy the products you order nor that they are fit for any particular use or service. If you are shipped products that you did not order or were mislabeled, you may return the products to Salt & Light Learning for a full refund. In such cases Salt & Light Learning will pay all shipping charges involved in returning the products to our location. All return requests, in-store or from the website, must be performed within 1 week and are at the discretion of Salt & Light Learning.

Should you choose to return your products for some other reason, you may do so and be issued a store credit. Your credit will be the original purchase price of your products minus any extra shipping charges incurred. All items returned through no fault of ours will be subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the original purchase price. All returns must remain in the same condition when shipped, and in the original packaging if any.

In all cases, you must contact us to obtain a return authorization before shipping your items. Returns should be by established shipping vendors that provide tracking services.

Limitations

THE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES SET OUT ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ANY OTHER WARRANTY WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

No Salt & Light Learning dealer, value-added reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty. The exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or liability for incidental or consequential damages is not permitted in some states. Some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. These warranties provide you with specific legal rights. There may be other rights that you may have which vary from State to State.
