  1. Why don’t you have pictures of each book?

Because of the quantity and constantly changing products, we do not always provide pictures. Pictures can be deceiving--they don’t tell you the edition or condition. In order to help you purchase the curriculum you need, we provide the publisher’s Catalog number, edition (if available), ISBN, and will state “previous edition” in the description if it doesn’t match the current catalog numbers. The ISBNs may be the same, but sometimes publishers change the cover. The books you receive may not match the cover depicted on the website as we use a stock photo and is not an actual picture of the item. If needing a specific copy, also confirm with the ISBN number, Publisher’s Catalog number, or edition. You may contact us if you feel the website information is not clear enough.

  2. My child has allergies. Are your books clean?

As our books are previously owned (sometimes still factory sealed, though), we cannot guarantee what they have been exposed to. We make the books as clean as possible, fix up tears, and re-glue where able to, but they will always be used. If your children have serious allergies, we would recommend you purchase new only.

  3. What are my savings?

Our books are discounted up to 90% off of its original value, depending on marketability, usability, and condition, but can be priced up to 100% of original price if brand new only, at request of author. Most teacher guides are at 50% of the publisher’s price that year. We do not change prices as publishers raise their prices (if you dig you might find a deal!). We strive to give you the best value.

 The following is a more in-depth view of our rating of our inventory and how we apply our discounted prices accordingly.


NEW = Items came in new from local authors, as buyer samples, evaluation products, or store seconds, or are still factory sealed.

Excellent = Items could be new or like new; no folds, written notes, cover rubs.

Very Good = Items may have minor fold/erasure, very clean

Good = Items are handled, but binding still solid (may have been reglued), may have erasures or minor notes, a few highlights or a few pages written in, or minor water damage.

Okay = Still sellable, but may have some water damage, binding may be loose, may have notes and/or highlights…priced accordingly (still too good to throw away). “Good” and “Okay” items will have detailed notes in the description specifying why the rating is so low.

  4. How do I know if the workbooks are written in?

We note specifics on the books under the description, if they have writing, tears, loose pages, etc. We go through each book as we key it into our database and recheck it before we ship it to make sure we didn’t miss any features that may concern you. Click the product’s name to find more information on each item or we’d be glad to tell you about the books via e-mail or phone.

  5. Can I pick up my order at the store?

Yes. Once you receive your confirmation e-mail from us, we remove your merchandise from the shelf and it is reserved in your name and available for immediate pickup. For payment method, use the “in-store pickup” and, for shipping, use “in-store pickup”. You can use whatever payment method you want when you come get the books. 

It is important to contact us to let us know when you will be picking up your order. If someone will be picking up the order for you, you may prepay on the website, but please tell us who will be coming in and when. Orders not picked up within 5 business days, except by previous arrangement, will be made available for sale and cannot be guaranteed to be available again to you.

  6. How does shipping work?

We always try to find the best shipping rate we can for your order. The order is usually shipped within 24 hours of the next business day. The website is linked with USPS so you get the actual cost plus $2 handling fee.

  7. Do you ship to other countries?

Yes, we have shipped to all 50 states and Washington DC in the USA and countries on 6 continents. We have yet to ship an order to Antarctica.  When ordering from outside the country, the website offers a few shipping options. These are not the only choices available. We will be glad to work closely with you regarding spending parameters, the time-frame needed, and the carrier you’d like to use. Send in your order, noting your wishes in the “Comment” section of the order page. You will have to pick a shipping method on the website in order to process your order but we will fix it once we’ve heard from you. We will not ship anything until both of us have finalized the shipping needed.
